Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
A name or case number entered in a search tool is sent directly to the outside company operating that tool. The provider processes the query and supplies its results. Pima County Court Docket does not retain or record those search terms on its own systems.
Messages and Contact Submissions
An email or contact submission may be retained so the team can respond. It is kept within the organization and is not disclosed externally unless a legal duty requires disclosure.
Data We Gather Automatically
When a page loads, the servers automatically receive technical information about the visit:
- Page-view dates and times
- The referring website, when available
- Visited pages and time spent on them
- Device type and operating system
- Browser type and version
- The device's assigned IP address
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies are small files saved on a device. They and analytics services help produce aggregate information about site use, such as popular pages and exit points. Browser controls can block cookies at any time, although doing so may change how some parts of the site function.
What We Do With This Data
- Diagnosing and correcting technical problems
- Measuring which pages are useful and which need improvement
- Operating the site reliably and improving load performance
- Routing a submitted search to the selected partner
- Displaying advertising that may reflect visitor interests
No Court-Record Data on File
Pima County Court Docket does not host, maintain, compile, or sell a database of court dockets or personal case information. It publishes general directions to the Clerk of the Superior Court in Pima County, other local court clerks, and Arizona Judicial Branch search services. It is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and visitor data is not assembled into consumer reports or third-party records.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies power the search boxes on this site. Their privacy policies, not this policy, govern information entered into those tools. Each partner establishes its own retention and disclosure practices. Review those terms before submitting a query because this site cannot control them.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to Arizona clerk pages, court portals, statewide case-search systems, legal-aid resources, or outside search services. Once a visitor follows a link, the destination's privacy policy applies. Review it before providing personal information.
Some advertising companies may track activity across websites to deliver targeted advertisements. That tracking occurs through the advertiser's systems rather than this site's own records.
Who Might See Your Data
Personal data is not sold. Information may nevertheless be available to:
- Government or law-enforcement bodies acting under a valid legal order
- Advertising networks that place material on site pages
- Analytics providers measuring traffic and performance
- Search partners processing a query submitted through their tool
How We Protect Your Data
Standard security measures are used to protect collected information. No internet-connected service is completely secure, however. Reasonable safeguards reduce risk but cannot guarantee that a breach will never occur.
Users Under 18
This service is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone younger than 18. If a minor is believed to have provided information, contact the site so it can be deleted.
Your Data Rights
Rights may vary with the law that applies where a visitor lives. Arizona Supreme Court Rule 123 governs access to Arizona judicial records, while A.R.S. ยง39-121.01 addresses public-body record maintenance and requests. Those official-record rules do not make this private site's visitor information a court record. At a minimum, a visitor may:
- Opt out of certain processing activities
- Request deletion of personal information
- Ask that inaccurate information be corrected
- Request a copy of personal data held about the visitor
Updates to This Policy
This policy may be revised. An updated version will be posted here with a new effective date, so visitors should review the page periodically for changes in data practices.
Effective date: August 13, 2026
